Join Whispering Willow Wild Care at WHBC on Sunday, May 31st for an afternoon of family fun and education with some of their winged friends! The folks from Whispering Willow will be on hand to teach everyone about the animals they care for and their mission at the rescue. Food service by The Coop and Cruet Pizza. Desserts by Sweet Dee’s Pâtisserie. WHBC will be donating a portion of our sales for the day.

Whispering Willow Wild Care is an educational non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization. Built on the passions and kind heart of Joyce Perry, she and her dedicated volunteers have been assisting wildlife for the last 17 years. With that vast combination of training, experience, and resources, each animal that comes to the center is given the best chance of rehabilitation and, ideally, released back into the wild.

The Glen Hills Swim Club is raising money to support our pool and swim team. It is a seasonal facility that has been in operation since 1956. We are the only remaining pool in Schenectady County that is a “member owned and not-for-profit cooperative”. The swim club provides many benefits to the community, such as; swim lessons, swim team, summer reading program, weekly arts and crafts programs, special theme days. It also offers special food experiences, such as; Taco Tuesday, Pizza Friday and various food trucks. We connect members through swimming in a family-friendly atmosphere!
