Melting Ice and Mud Puddles

Despite what Punxsutawney Phil “predicted” it feels like spring is knocking on the door and you can feel the energy as people are starting to come out more, it is staying lighter later and things are lining up for an exciting and busy spring brewery season!  To that end this is the LAST WEEKEND of our winter seasonal Tiny Tartan Scotch Ale…make sure to fill your growlers so that you have enough to make it through to the end of actual winter because as we upstaters know, it can persist.

To help you shake off the winter come in THIS SATURDAY, Feb 25 and get down with the amazing Upstate Rubdown back for their second appearance on the WHBC Brewhouse Concert Series stage!  You won’t be able to sit still (nor should you) when they break into their unique brand of Americana described as a “hurricane of sound”.  Show starts at 9pm, tap room stays open late!

Next week, February 28 from 4-10pm we will be doubling down on the spring celebrations as we release our Look Bock and Laugh spring seasonal beer on Mardi Gras!  In addition to special pint pricing, Buzzard’s Bay will be making French pitmaster-style jambalaya, we will have a Best-Dressed contest for your Mardi Gras get-ups (winner and runner up receive WHBC and BBBBQ gift cards!) and special live Mardi Gras music with local jazz ensemble, Tanager!
